My husband and I just got back from the beautiful Hilton Head Island in South Carolina. It was a spur of the moment trip but we had the BEST time!!! We both came home with a sunburn though....OUCH!!!!
We stayed at the most beautiful Inn and it had absolutely gorgeous gardens and fountains. So get comfortable because this post has a lot of pictures.
This is the entrance to the Inn.
The next couple of pictures are of the gorgeous gardens.
The Inn had the old time oil lamps. They were so beautiful at night.
Here's a few pictures of our room.
Gorgeous beach!!!!
The Island has so many OLD trees that have the Spanish moss hanging....... it so Southern and beautiful!! :)
I hope you are still with me I warned you this was a long post!! I sure have missed all my blogging friends. I'm so behind on reading all of my blogs and I hope to catch up on them this week. This weekend I'm going to be adding some Summer Thyme items to my website so be on the lookout.
Until next time....take care!!! :)
Blessings,
Dana

Yes, I got lost. See, I even stop typing this comment just to go back and zoom in on those beautiful pictures again. Oh could I ever use a getaway like that. I mean, I really could use one. :D
ReplyDeleteHave a question for ya. Why did you ever leave? :D
There's nothin' like a mossy tree in the south.
I will be sure to check out your summer time goods as well. TFS
