Wow!!! It's been a long time since I posted please forgive me for neglecting my blog. I have been so busy with orders and getting ready for my upcoming shows. I've got a few blog posts planned so I'm going to try my best to do better about posting. Thank ya'll for sticking with me.

This past weekend my husband and I went to a local festival called Colonial Times  and we had so much fun. It was a reenactment show and I was very impressed with how authentic it was. I took a ton of pictures so hang in there it's a long post.

  8. I'm certain you had a great time! That would be right up our alley except about a hundred years later! We do the Civil War Living History but all eras have their certain intrigue. Thanks for sharing the pics.

  9. Hey There Dana!!
Oh looks like you had a great weekend! Loved all the pics. I must say the trenchers were my favorite! Glad you had great weather for it. Where I live(just outside of Gettysburg) there are tons of shops with lots of re-enactment clothing...supplies, etc. and there is always something like this going on.....it's great getting to know this type of history being that we all love the "prim-life" so much!

Thanks for sharing your fun weekend with us.
    Have a great day girlie!
    Hugs to you!

  10. What Fun can this be, would love to attend something like this; and, with beautiful weather too.

All that woodware...the TRENCHERS are my favorite too. But, Lori, keep you hands off the dark trencher...it's MINEEEEEE(singing).

As a child...I loved dress and play. We called it PLAY-PLAYING.

Thanks for the lovely pics DANA. Marlene

  15. Looks like lots of fun! I love to see them decked out in those dresses and other costumes but my favorite is to watch them work with their hands. It's so fascinating to watch. What wonderful wares they had for sale! Most places like this have steep prices, but it would be hard to contain myself with all the wonderful pieces they have for sale. You did good with you lantern, love it!
